Pre-Event Client Checklist
Two Weeks After Reserving Your Date
Please make sure you have received your welcome packet via email, which will include this pamphlet, your photographer’s and videographer’s schedule, and your welcome letter. If you have not received all of these items, please email clientservice@mjsphotostudio.com or call 1-800-BRIDAL 6 to request your welcome packet.
If you are a MJS photography only client, you are entitled to receive up to a $500 discount on video services booked within six weeks of reserving your photography. Please call your local studio for more information and pricing now.
If you have signed up for a payment plan or are on a payment schedule, please mark your calendar for your payment due dates. If you need to change your payment terms, please contact our corporate office immediately. We will be glad to help you select a convenient and flexible payment plan to meet your financial needs.
Throughout the time from your choosing MJS Photo as your photographer and/or videographer to your final order, we will be emailing you important information, so please be on the lookout for our emails.

Two to Three Months Before Your Event
Please send your completed Photographer’s Schedule and/ or Videographer’s Schedule to our corporate office. You can mail, fax, or scan and email the form but write clearly as this is an important tool for our photographers to use throughout your event. It is imperative that you include on this form any special family situations as this knowledge will ease any potential complications or confrontations in posing the group shots. We also ask that you have one person in charge who knows all parties to be shot. This person’s cell phone number should be on your sheet and given to the photographer. This person should feel comfortable addressing the photographer with any additional images you would like photographed.
Please be sure to secure any necessary permits required or insurance for photography locations. Check with your church, synagogue, reception hall, and any other locations which may need permits or insurance.
If you have purchased our video package and your Agreement includes a Growing-up Photo Lead-In or Invitation, please send your invitation and up to ten photos to our corporate office. Additional photos over ten may be added for an additional charge.
To arrange a pre-bridal sitting of you in your event day dressing, or together with your groom, call 1-800-Bridal 6. Your payments must be current and sittings should be scheduled at least six weeks prior to your wedding.
Please check your Agreement for the date your payments are due, and forward each to our corporate office. Write your last name, the groom’s last name or the person the event is for and the affair date on all your checks and other correspondence you send to MJS Photo.
